Moving into a new home should be an exciting new chapter. However, demanding work schedules and everyday responsibilities sometimes mean unpacking becomes a task that’s constantly postponed.
For this project, our client had been living in her new BTO for almost a year, yet many belongings from her previous home remained inside unopened cartons. Over time, new purchases were simply added to the growing collection, making it difficult to fully enjoy the beautiful home she had worked so hard to own.

Our client was a healthcare professional with a demanding career that often required long hours and occasional travel.
Like many first-time homeowners, she moved into her new BTO with every intention of unpacking “when things settled down.”
Unfortunately, work always came first.
Boxes from her previous home remained unopened.
New purchases continued to arrive.
Little by little, her beautiful new home became filled with cartons instead of memories.
Although she had lived there for almost a year, she admitted she still didn’t feel like she had fully moved in.
During our site assessment, we found that each room reflected the pace of her busy lifestyle.
The study room had gradually become a storage area, making it impossible for her to work comfortably from home.
Instead, she found herself working at the dining table.
The living room offered a lovely view, yet cartons placed throughout the space prevented her from truly relaxing and enjoying it.
Even the kitchen struggled to function efficiently.
Coffee sachets, snacks and pantry items were stored inside plastic bags on the floor because there simply wasn’t an organised system for them.
The home wasn’t lacking storage.
It simply needed structure.
Every organising project begins with understanding how our client uses their home.
For this project, we designed each space around her daily routine.
The pantry was reorganised so coffee, snacks and everyday essentials became easy to find.
The study room was transformed back into a productive workspace.
More importantly, we helped set up her sound system—something she genuinely enjoys—so she could work while listening to music in a space designed just for her.
