We have been committed to creating a clean environment that helps reduce stress and anxiety since 2014. In collaboration with various programs, we organized spring cleaning events where our Total Cleanz staff actively participated. By helping our elderly have a clean, comfortable and healthy living environment, we hope to improve their mental and physical wellbeing as well.
Assisting elderly individuals with cleaning is vital, as many face mobility challenges and health issues that make household tasks daunting. That’s why Total Clean collaborated with St. Andrew’s Active Ageing Center and SG Cares to volunteer our time and expertise in cleaning for the elderly.
As seniors age, physical disabilities can limit their ability to maintain a safe and hygienic living environment, leading to potential health risks. By offering our cleaning support, we help reduce clutter and prevent accidents, allowing them to feel more secure and comfortable in their homes.
This assistance not only enhances their well-being but also promotes their independence, ensuring they can enjoy their golden years with dignity and respect.
St. Andrew’s Active Ageing Centre (AAC) supports elderly people in Singapore through social, health, and care programs that promote active ageing and independent living.
SG Cares is a national movement encouraging volunteerism to help vulnerable communities and foster a more caring society.

Aunty Sally, who has been living in her one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment in Dover for many years, is wheelchair-bound and without a steady income. With no relatives or children to assist her, the Total Cleanz team volunteered their time to give her home a much-needed deep clean.
We tackled hard-to-reach areas like the ceiling fans and cupboards, which had gathered dust over time. The walls, layered with grime and turned yellow, were carefully scrubbed—though we didn’t repaint, we managed to remove stubborn stains, bringing back some shine and brightness to her space. Despite the challenges, Aunty Sally’s cheerful spirit shone through, and while we worked, her friendly neighbors stopped by to say hello. Now, she can enjoy her favorite pastime, playing mahjong, in a fresher, cleaner home.

Since 2023, Totalcleanz has been collaborating with Singapore Polytechnic’s Advanced Materials Technology Centre (AMTC) on an exciting product development project. The goal is to create a revolutionary coating that can be applied to the exterior of glass windows, imparting self-cleaning properties that will transform window maintenance.
This project focuses on developing a transparent and durable coating capable of withstanding Singapore’s challenging climate, including UV exposure, humidity, and atmospheric elements. By incorporating self-cleaning features, the coating will significantly reduce the need for frequent cleaning, aligning with Totalcleanz’s commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency.
We are currently in the final round of testing, and the partnership with AMTC has combined both teams’ expertise, leading to strong confidence in achieving the project’s objectives.
