For this project, our team was engaged to prepare the home of an elderly lady before she returned from a community hospital. Years of accumulated belongings, damaged furniture and pest activity meant the property required far more than routine cleaning.
Within just six hours, our six-member team worked together to declutter the home, remove unwanted furniture, dispose of unnecessary items and carry out a comprehensive deep cleaning so the home would be ready for a hospital bed and safer daily living.

During our initial assessment, we quickly realised this project wasn’t simply about organising a home.
Our client had been staying in a community hospital and hoped to return home soon.
However, the house needed significant preparation before that could happen.
Her priority wasn’t making the home look beautiful.
It was making it safe, accessible and suitable for her next stage of life.
That became our team’s priority too.
As we assessed the property, we identified several major challenges.
The common bedroom had become a storage area containing 23 cartons stacked together along with many other belongings.
The amount of stored items made it difficult to even enter the room comfortably.
The master bedroom also required immediate attention.
The existing bed frame and mattress had deteriorated and needed to be dismantled and removed before a hospital bed could be delivered.
The living room showed signs of long-term pest activity, including insects, cockroaches and lizards, requiring extensive cleaning before the space could become comfortable again.
Projects like these require careful planning and teamwork.
Our six-member team divided responsibilities so multiple tasks could be carried out simultaneously.
While some team members focused on reviewing and removing unwanted belongings, others dismantled furniture, coordinated disposal and prepared different areas of the home for cleaning.
By working together with a structured workflow, we completed the entire project within six hours.
Removing unwanted items was only the beginning.
Once the home had been cleared, our cleaning specialists thoroughly cleaned the living areas, bedrooms, kitchen and bathrooms.
Years of accumulated dust and dirt were removed, allowing the home to feel brighter, cleaner and significantly more comfortable.
Most importantly, enough space had been created for the installation of a hospital bed, making the home much more suitable for our client’s return.
By the end of the day, the transformation wasn’t measured by the number of cartons removed or the amount of cleaning completed.
It was measured by something much more important.
An elderly lady now had a safer, cleaner and more accessible home waiting for her.
Sometimes professional decluttering isn’t about creating more storage.
Sometimes it’s about preparing a home so someone can live comfortably again.
